Inspired by 'tumi ishi' or japanese zen blocks, and used traditionally to develop a sense of inner balance - because in order to balance on the outside, one needs to be balanced on the inside :)

Bloon Toys Zen Balancing Blocks can be used as stacking blocks, building blocks, balancing blocks.

• For younger children aged 6months and above, the blocks work well for sensorial exploration (with supervision)
• For toddlers, the various types of wood and shapes allow for unique interpretation and integration into imaginative play and construction as loose parts
• And for older kids and adults, the zen balancing blocks make for a fun (and challenging!) stacking game!

Thoughtfully handmade using a mix of woods - and finished with tung oil (a food grade wood finish & preservative).

Each bag contains 15 blocks each a unique shape, and in a variety of wood types. Wooden Blocks are all bigger than a 1.25" cube.
